A practice built
on curiosity.
Yoga educator · E-RYT 500 · Founder · Competitive freediver
For nearly two decades, I’ve helped people build a more accessible, adaptable, and meaningful relationship with movement, breath, and themselves.
My work bridges yoga’s traditional foundations with therapeutic movement and an ever-evolving understanding of the nervous system.
It begins with a simple invitation: meet yourself where you are.

Rooted in practice.
Always learning.
I began practicing yoga at home before studios or formal training were part of my world. My original teacher training later took me to Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh, India, where the study of philosophy and the Yoga Sutras expanded my understanding of what yoga could be.
Since then, continued education in Anusara yoga, Yoga Medicine, anatomy, therapeutic movement, and neuroscience has deepened my approach. My own daily practice has changed across the years, too—as I believe it should.
Built for
real people.
After returning to rural Northern Colorado, I began teaching yoga in community spaces, dance studios, and a senior center. That first invitation to teach chair yoga became an enduring part of my work.
In 2015, I opened BeWell Yoga Studio in Johnstown. For five years, it offered a welcoming place to move, breathe, connect, and practice with compassion. I was proud to build it alongside an extraordinary group of teachers and students.
The studio closed in 2020, but the work—and the relationships behind it—continued.
From the studio
to the BeWell Method™.
Across thousands of hours of teaching, I kept returning to a few essential foundations, regardless of the person or the practice: Breath, Spine, and Feet.
In 2024, I stepped away from most of my projects to focus on teaching and recognize the patterns beneath my work. Those observations became the BeWell Method™—a progressive nervous system regulation framework rooted in yoga and built for clinical use.
The goal is not to replace rehabilitation. It is to give clinicians and their patients structured, accessible ways to practice regulation alongside their care.

Little by little, again and again.
Still exploring.
I am also an AIDA 4 Master Freediver and competitive freediver. Time underwater offers another way to experience breath, attention, and physiological responses firsthand.
Freediving doesn't replace research or education; it keeps me curious. That curiosity has always been central to how I practice, learn, and teach.
Depth of experience.
A lifetime of learning.
A foundation of traditional study, contemporary education, and years of direct work with people of different ages, abilities, and experiences.
Wherever you are,
start there.
Whether you're exploring yoga for yourself or learning about the BeWell Method, there is room to begin with curiosity, choice, and care.
